Five
The routine was normal.I turned on my computer when i got home,took a good hot bath and by the time i returned to the room,Audrey Hepburn was already staring at me with a cigarette between her fingers,and windows popping up everywhere.I went to www.j-mayer.org,where i usually get my latest John Mayer news update,and guess what i found?
JOHN MAYER IS NOMINATED FOR FIVE GRAMMYS!
I swear,i was beyond elated.I was a man with the bag of lottery money;I was the prom king;I was the man in love with a beautiful woman;I was the man of the hour.And the strange thing was,John Mayer isnt even my name.I was genuinely happy for that man,and the next person who comes up to me and says that he sounds like he had his balls in somebody's fist when he sings,i am going to slap him with the Grammy Nominees list and then shove it up his sorry ass.I swear,i am the proud fan of John Mayer,and the fact that he was nominated was already worthy enough for a great big cheer.
I was about to blog about my beautiful night,but that'd take a little time and planning.Right now,i am a little too hyped up about the fact that his album Continuum is finally going to be recognised.Sure,he is going up against Mary J. Blige and Bob Dylan,even that sorry ass Justin Timber-Trash.But to me,he is already the big winner,and some of you readers out there might think this post has the potential to get me a part in the sequel to the 2006 runaway movie Brokeback Mountain,you are so totally wrong.This is admiration,and this is as innocent as it gets.Good on you John,go kick some ass.
A special entry about you is coming up very soon.And before that,here's the categories he is nominated in.Oh,and it will be broadcasted live from Los Angeles on the 12th of February,2007.
