The truth is, I think women may be from Venus, but men are definitely from Earth. Men are the humans here, women are the aliens on our planet. They were put on this earth to mess with the minds of men and to manipulate it into their own secret agendas and desires. If one of the gender is the alien, then it is definitely going to be the women. Think about it, men are the creatures that work with logic, rationality, and reason. Women are the creatures that men don't get, they are the enigma in any men's life that we are forced to just love them for what they are rather than to understand them. You don't really hear about books about women written by a man, flying off the shelves at bookstores. The truth is, no man can claim that he knows about women, but it doesn't take a long for a woman to say that she knows everything about men. Men are easy creatures to understand, we are easy to please. We are simplistic creatures, and we remain as a stark contrast to the alien beings from out of this world whom we call - women. 

I think women are complicated, although that isn't necessarily a bad thing at all. It gives men something to think about, or else the world would just crumble with all the men in the world sitting in front of their televisions and channel-surfing till the day ends and the other begins. You know, passive reception of information that requires even less brain activity than sleeping. Women provides a sort of wonderment to men, kind of like how cavemen probably looked upon the rainbow in the sky or the lightning in the cloud. I would assume that a lot of men out there would agree, that there is a woman in his life that is a rainbow and a lightning at the same time. We are always looking for that pot and that hammer, and we are being blown head over heels by these creatures that we call women. Women, however, aren't so fascinated by men for the most part. Some of them are definitely, but I would assume humans to be a rather boring species to invading aliens, if we do ever come to that stage. Women were probably sent to Venus a long time ago to create a sexual balance in this world - and no, Adams and Eve never existed. Screw Creationism, and Charles for the win! 

That is the demography of the world between men and women, men being the simple creatures and women being the aliens, or the wonderment, the amazement. Men are still pondering over why they are so fascinated with breasts, although women can't really say the same about men's nipples most of the time. Some say that it is the animal instinct, while others believe that men have a tiny brain in their penises. Whatever the case may be, I believe that the relationship between men and women can never be fully explained with a book, much less a blog entry. Still, it is interesting to think about it every once in a while, how we exist in each others' lives and how our paths would cross every once in a while. Most men love women, some women love men. Some men love men, but more women love women. Fact, that cannot be contested, and I speak the truth here. It's strange how it is easier for a woman to turn gay than for a man to do the same. It is the culture back home in Venus I suppose, I suppose that is how they roll back there. Some of the men followed suit, while other men stood on one side and felt disgusted. But it is all natural, really, it is all OK. It doesn't matter if you are from Venus, Earth, or the dysfunctional Pluto. It's all about love now, it's all about love. 

Men would do anything for love, and most of the time it isn't really about women. They might tell you that it is about women, but it really is about love. Love takes many forms, and we are talking about the lusty love, the kind of love that makes a man stand at attention in between the legs if you know what I mean. The truth is, men are all for reproduction and they are all pro-creation, whatever that means. They are all for sex, and it is all about sex or nothing at all in this world. Love is fine, love is good - but lust is great though, lust is really great. Other than lust, keeping in mind that men are simple creatures, men would also lust over money and power. They usually come hand in hand though, so I guess we can strike out one of those and just say that men love power over anything else. It's a man's pride thing, it's pretty stupid. Men can't be the first to apologize, men should never agree to his own mistakes. While some cultures in this world promotes shame and humility, men secretly despise this idea and would do anything to get to the top of the food chain in any society out there. In the beginning, men and women did the very same things when they were cavemen and cavewomen, with their spears and their knifes made out of rocks and sticks. They went out hunting together, took care of their children together, and there wasn't such a thing as "sexism". 

Then, of course, somewhere down the road, men realized that women were from Venus, and they were terrified. They didn't like the idea of aliens coming to their planet and ruling the world alongside, it didn't make them feel comfortable. Think about it, who'd like to be invaded by a bunch of aliens and have them live comfortably amongst you? Women had such a control over men back then, and I am sure women made men do stupid things in the past just like how they make us do stupid things today. So they decided that earthlings should rise up against the Venusians (I just came up with that term). So, the men came together and form little committee in various tribes and villages, and these tribes and villages later became countries and nations. The word "committee" would not suffice, so they chose a grander word called "government" and "authority", and they decided to populate these governments and authorities with a lot of men. These men would thus rule over other weaker men and all of the other women, who posed as alien threats to the earthlings - or so they say. Women, they thought, were manipulating the minds of men, and they needed to be controlled before things got out of hand. 

That is probably why governments now are so choked with men most of the time, and they came up with some ridiculous excuse back then, claiming that "women are not interested in politics". Women are not interested because men created a society that caused them to be disinterested in political issues. Behind everything that is wrong and was wrong in this world, there is probably a man standing there. Behind this man, there is probably also a woman rolling her eyes, because that is the way it has been for as long as humans has existed. In fact, men became so proud of their own gender, that they decided that it'd be okay to call humans "men", as if women are not a part of the species at all. Oh yes, that is right, women are from Venus. Men of the past didn't see women as a part of them, which is why they excluded women out from the umbrella term called "humans". This is a conspiracy, and I think the only reason why our world and species is so messed up these days is because the people in charge are, most of the time, men. 

That's right, I think the world would be a better place if we have equal amount of both genders running the countries in the world. It's true, you cannot have a single gender running anything, it's not going to work out. That is probably why the women moved from Venus to Earth in the first place, they realized that they needed some sort of balance in their lives. Men did not see that, and they filled the parliaments with members of their own genders. I believe that there wouldn't be so many wars fought in this world, so many people dying from genocides, so many blood being shed if there were equal number of men and women running the world. There'd be equal amount of logos and pathos at work if that is the case, and things wouldn't have been done purely for the sake of the one thing that men lust over so desperately - money. Money makes the world go round, or at least that is the quote that we have heard so many times. I'd like to expand on that quote however, and say this: Money makes the world go round, and that's what he said. That's right, money makes the world go round because men love them so much.

Like I said before, no societies can be run by a single sex, not by women either. Just imagine a country run by women, things will never get done at all. There'd probably be too much emotions involved that a country cannot be run properly. Women need men to straighten their thoughts out, and men need women to remind them that things are not all that straightforward most of the time. I remember those times in my Junior College, when the number of girls in the class was a landslide against the men. It was a clearly imbalanced ratio, and you can ask anybody from my class how things turned out. You can go ahead and say that women are not into politics, but there was a different kind of politics that emerged from my class back then. It was a type of politics that is deeper and darker than the ones that exist in the parliaments today, and it isn't a vision of a country that you'd want to see realized. Anyway, so there were a lot of conspiracies, a lot of backstabbing, a lot of political friendships that pretty much ended up in smithereens for the most part. It was nasty, but then that is what you get with an imbalanced sexual ratio - you get chaos. 

Men are controlling because that has been the case, and things just seem to be agreeable as we know it. Men go out to work and become big bosses of companies while women stay at home to nurse their children. The equation has been working for the longest time, although there are men taking care of their children and there are women becoming owners of big companies too. But let's not forget that no country in the world pays the women the same as men, given the same title. It's true, and things are still very unfair. I say, have more women running the world, and not have these men run the show all the time. Why do you think some of the happiest, most efficient countries are also the ones run by an equal number of men and women? I am talking about the Nordic countries folks, everything from Iceland to Norway to Sweden. That is the perfect world that I dream of, one with balance. That is really what we need anyway, and it really doesn't matter if you are from Earth, Venus, Pluto, or beyond the last frontier. All we need is the idea that we need balance, equal parts of everything. It begins with sharing a cake at a birthday party, or sharing a light with another smoker. It's about balance, sharing, and caring. So what if you may seem more alien to me? That is the way things are, and let's deal with that like men and women, shall we?
