God is Real

You wouldnt expect such a phrase to come out of my mouth,or to form under the tips of my fingers on the keyboard.Im not an atheist, and i am sure as hell dont hate Christianity.I mean, they have their queer ways sometimes, the way they collapse in churches and services,on the floor shivering with holy spasms is kinda strange to people, but i guess the basis of every religion, fundamentally,is good.Dont do bad, make love, not war, stuff like that.

It must have been an omen of some kind, when that bald-headed man came up to Corinna and I before we crossed the road to Cineleisure yesterday at the traffic light. He was making his way through the crowd waiting before the lights giving out brochures. As a habit, you want to stay away from this people, especially if you dont know what the hell they are trying to sell.Survey people are fine,if they dont take up too much time and actually have interesting questions.Students with tin cans are still within the acceptable range if they are cute, and they are always easy to reject and never too stubborn. The ones that brings along a laminated A4 size paper, with a picture of a poor kid in it,asking you to donate at least ten bloody dollars, those people are the anti-christ.Really.They are.

Anyway, that guy came to us,and before i regained my consciousness,he stuffed a brochure into Corinna's hands and walked off.He asked us to go to their church or something, but i shrugged it off complaining that they dont have free food.I didnt notice that that was in fact,an omen of something greater to come.

Let's cut the chase here, pull up the mystery curtain. What i am saying is,what i am truly say is...

COLDPLAY IS COMING TO SINGAPORE!!!

Thanks to the informative forums people,i found out that Coldplay is having a concert here on the 10th of July,2006.That's Monday, which is obviously a worry for me because of the bloody NS shit.Of course,i can always take leave, but what are the chances of getting a free slot that day with nothing important scheduled?Besides,it is too early to tell if there is anything on the timetable as well,it wouldnt make sense to ask PC if i can take leave on that day, because i imagine him to be pretty oblivious to it as well.

Damn,i swear if i miss this concert i am going to burn down the camp and set fire to myself afterwards. After missing Oasis for India, and Damien Rice for unacceptable reasons(DAMN YOU SISTIC),i am certainly not going to allow myself to miss this one.It is Coldplay,it is Cold-Fucking-Play,how can i miss them? Finally, after months and months of whining, about them not coming down to Singapore, they finally are.I never had any prayers, but i guess my frustration has been answered.

Here's the plan.I am going to call up Sistic every other day and ask when the tickets will be up for grabs.According to my sister(Who is in fact an expert in such a field, who has been to countless boyband concerts),a part of the most expensive seats(Which i am going to get)will be booked for critics, celebrities and stuff.Only a part of those will be avaliable to the public, and the prices dont exactly reflect directly, the quality of the view as well.

She told me that by ordering through online services, the chances of you getting those seats are higher, simply because the sale of tickets open usually an hour(give or take)earlier than the counters.

Also, she had a Plan B for me as well.If i cant take leave on that day for whatever reasons, with the ticket in my hands i can jack up the price and sell it to some desperate Coldplay fan out there.I am hoping that i am never going to resort to that kind of sneaky bastard act,but then again, what is the harm of gaining a few bucks if i cant even catch Coldplay live?

There is a God,there truly is.And they are coming to Singapore!Of course, they are not divine or anything, they are not THE God.They are just A God,get what i mean?

COLDPLAY IS COMING TO SINGAPORE!

Somebody calm me down with a sledge hammer.
