Tribute

A little something i wrote, inspired by a blog my friend gave to me over MSN this morning. The owner of the blog, this girl, lost her boyfriend due to some accident. And in one of the entries she mentioned about this bus trip she had with her boyfriend, and how they had this little conversation with each other then, that she would never forget.

So in honour of her boyfriend, and her bravery to face up to his death, though i have never met them before,i wrote this part of a song i came up in my head moments ago.I kinda hate it somehow, especially the second verse. But what the hell,it's my little effort as a tribute to that love of yours.

RuiYi,if you are reading this can you please give me her blog address again?I'd like to link it here. Thanks!

I never want this bus trip to end
Was probably the best line you ever said
It was this Sunday evening around eight
When i thought of you.

Already gone.
Far too long.
All too late.

You asked what i was thinking about
I just smiled at the way that came out
Of your bubble gum lips just now
When i dreamt of you.

Everything's wrong.
Nothing is won.
Starting to fade.

But we never saw it coming
The way it took you away from me
And i never saw it cutting
Into my heart so deeply

Quickly.
Painfully.
Lonelily.
